DiNardo’s opened in 1976 with three dedicated families involved: The DiNardo family brought their expertise in the crab and restaurant business, the Patrone family joined as financial experts and the D’Lauro family contributed knowledge as public relations specialists. As a result of this unique combination of ownership, the restaurant has thrived for 36 years. The reins were handed to second-generation owner Liz Massimo for the last 20 years; with her, many of the third generation are managing, hosting, serving and bussing tables. As part of DiNardo’s commitment to loyal customers, nightly specials provide Philadelphia-area diners with top value. On Mondays, DiNardo’s offers “All You Can Eat Steamed Crabs, Fries and Slaw” for $35 per person. On Tuesdays, the “Blue Claw Special with 7 Hard Shells Steamed or Garlic Style, Fries and Slaw” is $36 per person. On Wednesdays, the “2-lb. Snow-Crab Special” is $36 per person; the “2-lb.
